Join us for a morning at the farm and be part of our partnership with FAM Houston to grow healthy food and build an empowered community. Shamba Ya Amani (“the Farm of Peace” in Swahili) is located in the Alief area. Members of this group and dedicated volunteers work together each Saturday to plant, maintain, and harvest community rows as well as individual family beds.
