Back to School Missions

Helping students in our community have a successful school year.

Students are about to head back to school, and it's an exciting time of the year at MDUMC! This fall, we are partnering with organizations in our community that are working to ensure that all children in our area are sent back to school ready for a successful school year and that local teachers are supported. This means helping to provide necessary uniforms, school supplies, and financial support to those in our local community.

Hollibrook Elementary Lunch Buddy Program

Volunteer to become a lunch buddy to a student at Hollibrook Elementary. Be a fun, encouraging, stable presence to a student who needs the gift of hope! The time commitment is a once a week during the school year, meeting during the student’s lunch time at Hollibrook. For more information, contact Julie Eisenhauer at jeisen777@aol.com.

Memorial Assistance Ministries Back to School Uniform Drive

The MAM Back to School program helps parents shop for new uniforms for their children, because all children deserve to have a great back-to-school experience! Over the years, MDUMC has been a huge supporter of MAM’s new uniform drive, so help us continue our generous support by donating via the link below.

In-Person Donations

If you would like to support local students and teachers by purchasing any of the much-needed supplies, you can drop them off on Sunday mornings on either campus or shop via our Amazon wishlist.

Spring Branch ISD School Supply Drive

MDUMC is collecting new, unused school supplies for Spring Branch ISD schools. Please bring supplies to either campus. Or shop our wish list here: Amazon.com

Spring Branch ISD Teacher Appreciation

MDUMC is collecting $25 gift cards to Wal-Mart or Target to give to teachers in Spring Branch ISD. Drop cards off at either campus on Sunday mornings, or at the receptionist desk on the main campus.

MDUMC is forming a volunteer team to coordinate year-round teacher appreciation efforts to show teachers our support. If you are interested in participating, please contact Kelly Williams at kellywilliams@mdumc.org.
