CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP ON THE WEST CAMPUS
Sunday Mornings | 9:30 & 11 AM
The Journey is Memorial Drive United Methodist Church’s contemporary service that meets in the Well (next to TJ Maxx) which is on our West Campus. Services are Sundays at 9:30 and 11 AM.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that church should be welcoming to everyone. In our services, we connect with God through worship in a way that combines the ancient traditions of the church, such as weekly communion, with modern music and a relevant teaching message.
With a casual and friendly atmosphere, The Journey is a place where you can come as you are and leave changed by the grace of God.
We want children to feel welcome in worship. Activity packs for kids are available in the back of the room. Children's time takes place at both 9:30 and 11:00 AM. then children are invited to attend Journey Kids behind the worship center.
Parents - please visit our check-in station to sign kids in prior to worship.
Nurseries for infants and toddlers are staffed with paid caregivers for both hours of worship.
SERVE AT THE JOURNEY
We want to invite you to serve at the Journey. We have opportunities to be an usher, greeter, or communion server, as well as serving with Journey Kids, as a part of our prayer team, or as a part of our media team. There is a place for anyone who is looking to serve to fit in.
Stop by the welcome table on Sunday Mornings to sign up, or click below to indicate your interest.
In Mark 2, people are meeting Jesus in a home “so packed with visitors that there was no more room, even outside of the door.” It was a full house, still there were more who needed to see the Lord. So, four friends climbed up on the roof, tore open a hole, and lowered their friend inside!
If you’ve visited The Well on our West Campus on a recent Sunday, you've probably seen much of the construction going on inside. In late 2015 we kicked off the MAKEROOM Campaign to fund construction that would make room for more to come. We are excited to be opening a larger worship space, and an expanded children's area in early 2017.
