Holiday Helpers

MDUMC Holiday Helpers will have many outreach opportunities in which to share the light of Christ during the Advent season. Please prayerfully consider how you would like to serve through the following opportunities:

Westside Homeless Prevention

Help a family this Christmas by purchasing their Christmas gifts. These families are under a strict financial planning program and could use your help in making Christmas a little brighter both for the children and the parents. Stop by the Advent Table in Friendship Court and pick up information about your family. This is a great way for Sunday School classes or small groups to participate together.

CrossWalk Houston

Family Point Resources and CWH are collaborating on a Christmas Store for the families served at the Outreach Center of West Houston. Stop by our table in Friendship Court or at The Journey to drop off gift cards, learn about other ways to help, or sign up to wrap gifts and help families while they shop. For more information contact Sedonia Finstad.

Angel Tree

Provide and deliver gifts for a child on behalf of his or her incarcerated parent. Look for the Advent Table in Friendship Court or The Journey Missions Room to pick up information about a child.
